PermaRoof Commercial worked with Samuel Moore Roofing to install the roof on a new intensive care unit at The Royal Infirmary in Hull. The time-sensitive, 12-month project required a full RubberGard installation with Vgard vapour barrier and PIR insulation.
Using almost 1100 square metres of RubberGard EPDM, the major project was completed on time and is now fully protected from the elements.
Sam Moore, managing director of Samuel Moore Roofing, said: “We saw the new ICU unit in Hull Royal Infirmary as a major project for our business. We were very pleased to have been awarded a project of this gravitas. To have the support of PermaRoof Commerical and Firestone was a great help knowing delivery of materials and smooth installation would be ensured.
“The materials were delivered where and when we required them, with minimal fuss and technical support available at all times. Sunny Lotay and his team were invaluable, so much so that we have now chosen to use PermaRoof Commercial to tender future projects, including an installation at Leeds University which we will be starting soon.”
